The Literacy Lifestyle, a 5-week course, teaches families how to prepare their children to learn to read and how to integrate effective literacy activities into the home environment.

Studies show that children who have strong pre-reading skills develop into strong readers, do well academically and love learning. The Literacy Lifestyle course teaches parents and caregivers how to promote authentic literacy growth in young children (ages 3-6) via hands-on, engaging activities. There isn’t a better way to ensure that your child will be ready to learn to read when formal schooling begins.

In short, The Literacy Lifestyle course shows you exactly what to teach and how so you can spend more time working directly with your little one! By spending minutes a day on early literacy activities, you can promote literacy growth in a natural, fun setting.

We believe that learning is more meaningful and a lot more fun when the instruction is delivered by a parent or family member. Unlike so many early literacy programs, The Literacy Lifestyle's curriculum is technology-free. We're a course and community built on human connection, not a computer program!
